Respect Care Group uses CardsOnline to centrally manage and produce identification cards across its organisation. The multifunctional ID cards are used for identification, access control, as well as internal payment services.
Respect is a healthcare organisation based in The Hague and Scheveningen, dedicated to providing housing, care and wellbeing services for elderly residents. With multiple locations and a wide range of staff, residents and visitors, Respect required a reliable solution to manage identity cards and integrate them with several facility systems.
ScreenCheck implemented CardsOnline, creating a central platform for managing identity cards across the organisation. The system connects to multiple source systems, ensuring that cardholder data remains accurate and up to date while simplifying the process of issuing and managing cards.
CardsOnline integrates with Respect’s existing systems, including Beaufort and Topdesk as source systems for cardholder data. The platform also connects to Active Directory to synchronise personal data, ensuring a consistent and secure identity management process.
In addition, integration with the Straight cash register system enables card-based functionality within internal services, while the connection to the CLB access control system allows cards to be used for secure building access.
Originally installed locally at the customer’s environment, the CardsOnline platform is now hosted and managed by ScreenCheck, providing greater reliability, centralised maintenance and simplified system management.
Across its locations, Respect uses two SC7000 card printers, which are fully maintained by ScreenCheck under a service agreement. This ensures reliable card production and minimal downtime for daily operations.
With CardsOnline, Respect benefits from a centralised and integrated identity management solution that supports secure access, efficient card issuance and seamless integration with existing healthcare systems across its locations.
